From Munich:

A10 Tauern Motorway Salzburg – Villach: From Munich, take the A8 to Salzburg, then continue south on the A10 via Radstadt – Tauern Tunnel – Katschberg Tunnel – towards Villach – exit at Millstätter See (note: on the left side). A motorway vignette is required, toll for cars is €13.00 (Tauern and Katschberg Tunnels).

Felbertauernstraße

Kiefersfelden – Spittal/Drau:
Carinthia can be reached via the Felbertauernstraße from Kiefersfelden without needing a motorway vignette or a GO-Box!
Toll for cars and all motorhomes (no weight restrictions): €11.00 (standard rate). A motorway vignette is only required on the A10 from Spittal/Drau to Villach.

Tauern Shuttle Böckstein – Mallnitz

From Munich, take the A8 to Salzburg, then the A10 towards Bischofshofen B311 – Böckstein B167. The train ride takes 11 minutes – from Mallnitz, continue on the B105 towards Spittal.
In Spittal, drive through the Lieser Gorge to reach Millstätter See.

Grossglockner High Alpine Road

From Munich, take the A8 to Inntal-Dreieck, continue towards Kiefersfelden until Kufstein Süd – Zell am See – Bruck / Glocknerstraße and over the High Alpine Road to Heiligenblut – from there, continue towards Spittal.

From Wels/Linz

Take the Pyhrn Motorway A9 – St. Michael/Stmk. – Judenburg – Scheifling – St. Veit/Glan – Klagenfurt – direction Villach – then towards Salzburg – exit at Spittal Ost or Millstätter See.
Toll/Bosruck Tunnel for cars with trailers and caravans up to 3.5 tons.
